SECTION 01Warranty Overview
We recommend inspecting your MOVCAN electric bike before its first ride. Check the brakes, steering assembly, wheels, spokes, drivetrain and other components for shipping-related movement, damage or incorrect adjustment. If anything seems unsafe, do not ride until the issue has been checked.
SECTION 02Coverage Eligibility
This voluntary limited warranty applies to eligible MOVCAN electric bikes purchased directly through www.movcan-ebike.com. It is intended for the original purchaser and original product and is not transferable.
The applicable warranty period begins on the confirmed delivery date. For warranty service, please retain your order number and purchase confirmation.
Claims are assessed against the coverage and exclusions for the affected component. A 12-month term on one component does not extend a shorter term on another component.

Note: The original schedule names a three-month period for the chainring/chain/flywheel and shift lever/front derailleur but does not specify covered defect examples for those rows. Coverage should be confirmed by the service team against manufacturing defects and exclusions; no additional promise is implied.

SECTION 05Separately Purchased Accessories
Accessories and replacement parts purchased separately are not covered by the limited e-bike warranty described on this page. The coverage tables above apply to eligible components originally supplied with an electric bike purchased through our store.
For accessories that arrive damaged, defective or incorrect, please follow the separate accessory provisions in our Return & Refund Policy, including the prompt reporting and supporting-evidence procedures.
The applicable return policy currently asks customers to report delivery-related accessory problems within 7 calendar days. This does not exclude rights or remedies that cannot legally be limited.
SECTION 06Exclusions
Examples of issues not covered by this voluntary warranty, subject to the relevant component terms, include:
- Normal wear and tear, including worn tires, brake friction surfaces and other consumables.
- Damage caused by collisions, misuse, overloading, impact or improper handling.
- Damage resulting from unauthorized modifications, improper installation or repairs.
- Water ingress or water-related damage where expressly excluded for the affected electrical component.
- Improper battery charging, overcharging, long-term non-charging or other excluded battery handling.
- Cosmetic damage and issues not attributable to a covered manufacturing defect.
Eligibility will be determined based on the component, evidence and circumstances of the claim. Exclusions cannot override non-waivable consumer protections.
SECTION 07How to File a Claim
- Gather your details. Include the order number, bike model, delivery date and description of the issue.
- Take photos or a video. Show the affected component and the symptoms as clearly as possible.
- Email the support team. Send your information to service@movcan-ebike.com.
- Allow time for verification. Our team may ask for additional images, troubleshooting information or inspection details.
- Receive the outcome. For approved claims, we will explain the available replacement-part or repair-instruction solution and any relevant shipping arrangements.
Safety first: Stop using an e-bike if you suspect a brake, battery, electrical or structural defect that could make riding unsafe.
Email Warranty SupportSECTION 08Repairs & Shipping
Approved warranty cases may be resolved through replacement components or repair guidance, depending on the problem and the applicable terms. On-site service is not currently provided under the published limited warranty.
The current published policy states that shipping costs, where applicable, depend on the case. We will explain any proposed shipping or service charges before proceeding. We do not promise free shipping for every warranty-related shipment unless confirmed in the individual case or required by law.
Please do not ship an electric bike or component to an address without prior return authorization and instructions.
SECTION 09Returns & Consumer Rights
The voluntary component warranty is separate from the store’s return and refund arrangements. If you want to return a purchase, please review our Return & Refund Policy, including applicable timelines and conditions.
This warranty does not reduce any statutory rights or remedies available under applicable consumer protection laws. A claim that falls outside the voluntary warranty period may still require separate consideration where such laws apply.
